This policy explains how Golden Productions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Seed Review, its product page on nickgoldenproductions.com, license purchases, and customer support.
1. Your videos and review data
Seed Review is designed for reviewing videos on storage you control, including your Mac and accessible network storage. The normal review workflow does not require uploading your video files or review comments to us. Review metadata is stored separately from the original video. People with access to your device, shared storage, or backups may be able to access that data. You control those permissions and backups.
If you voluntarily send us media, screenshots, logs, or review information for support, we receive that material and use it to investigate your request. Please remove confidential content that we do not need.
2. Purchase, licensing, and support information
When you purchase a license or contact us, we may receive your name, email address, order details, transaction status, license information, and the contents of your communications. Payment information is processed by the checkout provider; we do not need your full payment card number to provide support.
Our planned checkout and license provider is Creem. When this integration is enabled, online activation and validation may process your license key, an activation or installation identifier, a device label, activation status, and related request information such as an IP address and timestamp. This helps validate purchases and enforce the package’s device limit. It does not require sending your video content to the licensing provider. Creem’s own handling of information is described in its Privacy Notice.
3. Website data and cookies
Our website is hosted by Squarespace. Visiting it may cause Squarespace and enabled website services to process information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, and cookies or similar technologies. This is separate from reviewing a video locally in Seed Review. Details about Squarespace’s practices are available in its Privacy Policy.
You can manage cookies through your browser and any cookie preference controls provided on this website. Blocking some cookies may affect website or checkout functions. Optional analytics or marketing services, if enabled, are subject to the choices and consent required by applicable law.
4. How we use and share information
We use information to deliver licenses, manage activations, respond to support requests, communicate about purchases and material product changes, prevent fraud, keep business records, and comply with legal obligations. We share relevant information with providers that help deliver these functions, such as our website host, checkout and licensing provider, and communications providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
We do not use your locally stored videos or review comments for advertising. We do not sell those videos or comments.
5. Retention and security
We retain purchase and licensing records as needed to provide the license, address disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or other legal obligations. We retain support correspondence as needed to handle the request and related follow-up. Local review data remains under your control. We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal information, or to object to particular uses. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity. Some information must be retained for legal or licensing reasons. You may also have a right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
Where applicable, our grounds for processing include performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, consent, and legitimate interests in operating and securing our business. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own under the safeguards required by applicable law.
7. Children
Seed Review is intended for adult customers and professional workflows. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
8. Updates and contact
We may revise this policy as the product or our practices change. We will post the revised policy with an updated date and provide additional notice where required.
